Most of what we do is done by volunteers. Pick a role that fits your schedule and skills. We train and we are flexible.
Current volunteer roles
Dog walker
Weekday morning and evening shifts. Training provided. A steady rhythm is more useful than one big session.
Cat socializer
Sit with cats, especially shy ones, and help them get used to people again. Great for introverts.
Adoption event support
Help set up, run intake paperwork at offsite adoption events at local businesses and farmers markets.
Transport driver
Move pets between shelters, vet appointments, and foster homes. Must have a reliable vehicle; mileage reimbursement available on longer trips.
Photographer
Good photos get pets adopted faster. We need a steady volunteer photographer to shoot new intakes monthly.
Administrative
Data entry, phone follow-up with adopters, coordination with the vet. Remote-friendly.
